"Colony of Birchmen" got a nomination for best metal performance. The other nominees:
Lamb of God- Redneck
Ministry- Lies, Lies, Lies
Slayer- Eyes of the Insane
Stone Sour- 30/30-150

Bitch all you want about the Grammys, but I think it's a big honor to be nominated. Go Mastodon!

Another article said that Celtic Frost has been on the list of nominees, but they cut they list down significantly....

Stone Sour is going to win though.

Well, I'm pretty sure that to be nominated, it had to be released as a single.
