Norma Jean -- Orlando, FL -- August 11th, 2006
DON'T POST SHIT SAYING NORMA JEAN SUCKS
I don't care if you don't like Norma Jean. I love them. And over 500,000 people love there second CD, so I'm not alone But this was on off-fest show. Featuring Full Blown Choas, Walls of Jericho, Red Chord, A Life Once Lost, All That Remains, Norma Jean and Unearth headlining.
Orlando basically has gotten the best off-fest shows.
Tonight has Disturbed with SYL
Monday Dragonforce with Between the Buried and Me
Tuesday Hatebreed with Full Blown Choas
but the only show I am going to is the one I am reviewing because SYL sold out
I'm only gonna review NJ because my ozzfest review will handle everyone else.
So I got up front on the baracades. The stage set up was the same as the Ozzfest shows, the "Aftermath" theme. The amp set up is so good to look at is very original. I think this was the craziest at a show I have ever been. They came out to Dilemmachine and the place went nuts. I was screaming as loud as I could. They played my 3 favorite songs Bayonetwork, Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste(which was the best song of the night. All of the other bands came out to sing with them and I was screaming so loud is started to hurt) and Liarsenic. The new song sounded really good and I cannot wait for the new CD.
The setlist for those who care
Dilemmachine (Coalition; Hoax)
A Shotgun Message
Liarsenic (Creating A Universe Of Discourse)
Scientifiction (I. A Clot Of Tragedy; II. A Swarm Of Dedication)
Bayonetwork (Vultures In Vivid Color)
The Entire World Is Counting On Me, And They Don't Even Know
Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste.
Needless to say this weekend is going to be amazing. Ozzfest tommorow with Norma Jean again.
