Unearth -- Pontiac, MI -- April 17th, 2014

Since (sadly) Texas In July was not on this show of the tour, and Winds Of Plague dropped off the tour, Unearth took the stage at about 8:50. The show wasn't sold out, but it was a nice crowd. I also love going to shows at The Pike Room because the crowd is right there on top of the band, pretty much. It's a really cool vibe. The crowd & the band were both really into it the whole show. I've seen Unearth going on 20x now, and this show was up there w/ the best shows I've ever seen them play. I always LOVE hearing them play "Zombie Autopilot." They said they're working on a new CD that's due out this summer or fall. They played a new song that was really good. They jokingly called it "Jimmy Howard Sucks In Net" (because the Bruins & Wings are getting ready to square off in the NHL Playoffs). "Arise The War Cry" was an excellent surprise. I also always enjoy hearing "Crow Killer." Their drummer did a wicked drum solo in the middle of "Black Hearts Now Reign." Fantastic set by Unearth. After the show they hung out w/ everyone taking pictures & whatnot. This was just one of those shows that had great energy. Can't wait for their new CD this summer. Setlist:

Watch It Burn
The Great Dividers
Endless
Last Wish
Giles
Zombie Autopilot
new song
Eyes Of Black
This Lying World
Arise The War Cry
Crow Killer
Sanctity Of Brothers
Black Hearts Now Reign
My Will Be Done
