Some news for ya

Director J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII has a start date and a timeline.

Now it just needs a new Han, Luke and Leia.

Disney and Lucasfilm announced Tuesday that the new Star Wars movie the first of a planed third trilogy begins filming in May at London's Pinewood Studios. Episode VII will also be the first Star Wars film to start that month George Lucas' original Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back began in March, in 1976 and '79 respectively, while Return of the Jedi kicked off principal photography in London on Jan. 11, 1982.

Episode VII, which is currently slated to open in theaters Dec. 18, 2015, is set 30 years after the Rebellion took down the Galactic Empire and a second Death Star and had a huge celebration with Ewoks in Jedi.

The new film also will feature a trio of new leads. Classic Star Wars actors Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have been rumored to have roles in Episode VII, and Hollywood trades have recently reported that actors such as Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons and newly minted Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o have met with Abrams or are in talks for various parts.

Thus far, though, only one character has been confirmed: lovable droid R2-D2, a fixture in the previous six Star Wars movies.
Should be interested to wait for the trailer in say 6-8 months; I am glad they are giving so much time between ROTJ and this since there is so much cannon material (books, games, comics, etc.) for events right after ROTJ
