Even if they aren't making music together in five years, they'll still have one of the most acclaimed albums of 2013. Say what you will about their material, but the fact that these guys got such mainstream recognition is pretty damn rare, so if nothing else they'll be remembered for that.
My friend and I were talking about how they're "bridging the gap" with metal and the mainstream right now, and how that can only be good. BTBAM did it with Colors, too.
