3.) Steven Wilson- The Raven Who Refused To Sing (And Other Stories)

Much like Protest the Hero this year, I didn't think Steven Wilson was going to rank very high for me. I love Steven Wilson to death, Porcupine Tree is one of my favorite bands of all time, and I interviewed him back in May (My first interview I did with my lovely girlfriend, Lynn), but his solo albums in the past did nothing for me, it wasn't until this third album where everything clicked. Don't get me wrong, it's Steven Wilson, so it is a very moody album, you gotta be in the right headspace for it, but it is the right kind of Progressive Rock this time around where it doesn't feel too long or boring, everything is just right, and I haven't felt that in Steven Wilson since Fear Of A Blank Planet. Kudos good sir! now keep up the great work in the years ahead until you bring Porcupine Tree back!
