This is what surprises me the most. It doesn't get you drunk. Or, if it does, it takes way more beers than a normal one would, so the expenditure is basically the same.
And even if people do prefer it, is there really any need to make it so damn difficult to get proper beer? Every place I went was just Coors Light, Miller Lite, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra (nice con, Michelob), etc. And Heineken Light?! What the hell is that, water?! Heineken is already 3.5% as it is!
Also, why is it, in the country where everyone calls Budweiser "Bud", do no bar staff ever know what it is unless you say the full name? Or is that just a Southern California thing?
