RIP Jon Torres

So as some of you may have seen on blabbermouth, a bay area bassist/guitarist by the name of Jon Torres passed away yesterday. He was in a fuckton of badass bands including Heathen, Ulysses Siren, Slough Feg, Laaz Rockit and Warning SF. He had come in to the studio I intern at just a few weeks ago to do some overdubs on some Ulysses Siren live tracks- as far as I know, those were his last recordings. It's just an absolute shock to hear of his passing, especially since he was only 51- just a couple years younger than my dad.

He was a staple of the Bay Area metal scene for like thirty years, and never stopped playing on great albums. Below are what I consider to be a couple of his most classic tracks throughout his career.
