The band turned into the Melvins-Lite on this album. They insist that the Big Business guys are still in the band but this is just a different version of it. It actually came about when the Big Business guys were touring behind one of their own albums so Dale and Buzz started jamming with Trevor Dunn (of Mr. Bungle fame). It sounds like their last three “proper” albums, just with less drums. It really is just a lighter version of the Melvins. I thought the little bit I heard last year was pretty cool but when I went back and listened to the full album on youTube I really didn’t like it. The bass got really annoying after a few songs and the guitar tone is too tinny. It's more enjoyable than the Big Business albums but that's not saying much.
