The Melvins teamed up with Dead Kennedy’s front man Jello Biafra to form a super group of sorts called “Jelvins”. They fizzled out pretty quickly. This album has some really cool riffs but I’ve never been a fan of the Dead Kennedys or Jello Biafra so I just can’t listen to it very much. Jello Biafra legitimately scares me. Just in interviews his voice and facial expressions creep the hell out of me. And his social commentary about how terrible the world really is scares the crap out of me.
