This is another of those Melvins releases where the story behind the release is more interesting than the music. In 1996 the Melvins released a seven inch single every month, for twelve months. This compilation puts it all into one package. Some of the music is good (Lexicon Devil, How --++--/Harry Launders Walking Stick Tree), some of it is bad (In the Rain) and most of it is fucking terrible. Fast Forward, thats just the band fucking around with a tape deck. Jacksonville and Dallas are just the sounds of feedback as the band pissed off the crowd when they were opening for White Zombie and Nine Inch Nails. Theresa Screams is just some lady (Id imagine her name is Theresa) screaming her head off. Its pretty unlistenable garbage and its only worth seeking out if you are a huge fan of the band. The covers for the various singles are pretty cool, even if it's just a different color pallet of the same image.
Favorite Song: How --++--/Harry Launders Walking Stick Tree
