This is probably the Melvins most popular album. It’s not one of my favorites though. The reason being is that when I first downloaded and burnt all their albums to CD I was able to fit this album and Lysol on the same disc, and I put this after Lysol. So anything after Lysol just won’t sound as good. This is still a really good album. Some of the songs like Queen and Revolve are pretty radio friendly (nothing wrong with that, they’re still good songs) but some of the faster songs like Skweetis and Roadbull are really cool. Revolve could almost even be considered a "hit", or at least as close as the Melvins ever got to having a hit. It actually got played on MTV and shit. And Shevil is pretty hypnotic and almost (shock) beautiful.
Best Song: Shevil
Rating: 3.5 out of 5
