Now that is weird. I mean, for the venue's own bars and food stalls it's a clever con getting money from people up front, probably for a number of tokens that never quite equates to exact items of food or drink. But I'm surprised the band's people agreed to stick around for what will no doubt have been forever after the show to get piles of worthless plastic converted back into real money, when they could just accept real money from people in the first place.
