Mentally Murdered EP
Released on August 29th, 1989
Label: Earache

Line-up:
unchanged

1. Rise Above
2. The Missing Link
3. Mentally Murdered (different version)
4. Walls of Confinement
5. Cause and Effect
6. No Mental Effort

The band started their transition from grindcore to death metal on this EP. The recording quality is much better and the songs are all much longer (for them) and less “noise”. You can even make out most of the riffs. It’s a good little EP. If you like Symphonies Of Sickness-era Carcass you’ll like this. After this EP Lee Dorrian left the band to form Cathedral and Bill Steer went on to continue Carcass (he was already in the band when he joined Napalm Death, he just played with both).
Best Song: Rise Above
