I get that on a major label the tickets would probably go up a bit, but it seems hard to believe that they go from independent to major label and that doubles the prices of their shows. Again, I don't know for sure but that seems a bit excessive to me.
I mean, i'm sure they control it somewhat indirectly with how much they get paid by the promoter each show and the stage productions costs and all that, but ultimately it's the promoters who decide what the ticket prices are.
