All That Remains -- Baltimore, MD -- April 29th, 2013

Full Review w pix

A few hundred people on that dreary Monday night showed up. It was easy to get and stay near the front.

Rome Apart (local metalcore) was forgettable. Better than when I saw them open for Symphony X, but unremarkable.

Sky Came Burning (more local metalcore)'s first song was better than the entire previous set due to the guitarist being allowed to do some more interesting work. They were not bad, but not distinctive. They had a lot of breakdowns, the crowd got moving

All That Remains (more metalcore!) finally came on around 9:13. They played a little over an hour. A short set, and I thought they shoulda played more. They sounded very good, for the most part. Phil's vox were kinda dulled by the bass/drums at some points. No surprises- if you had seen ATR before.... pretty much the same thing here.

I didn't really pay attention to the set order until the end, but they did play an extra song from the new album, I believe. The rest of the set seemed accurate, from other dates, as they def played all their 'hits'

All That Remains 9:13- 10:20
