Shadow Moses 9.5 and Hospital for Souls/And the Snakes Start to Sing 5/10? Couldn't disagree more with that. Shadow Moses is one of the couple songs I felt was just super generic and that pseudo-Periphery riff in the middle is just awful. And the Snakes Start to Sing and Hospital for Souls are musically really great songs, but Sykes just drops the ball vocally (especially on And the Snakes Start to Sing.) I do agree that this is easily the strongest the album in their discography and I really like the direction they are headed in as a band musically.
Not trying to whore myself, but if anyone is interested in my full thoughts on the record here is my full review: http://maitlandsmadness.blogspot.com...e-horizon.html
