Almost all Queen fans will say either Queen II or A Night At The Opera is their best album.Let me just say that A Day At The Races beats every other Queen album by leaps and bounds.Freddie Mercury voice is as good as possible on this record, especially on "Somebody To Love".Brian May's guitar playing is astonishing as always, and legendary bass player John Deacon is at his personnel best, as well as drum player Roger Taylor.This album is most of the time overlooked because of A Night At The Opera, but I honestly can't see a real reason not think this is one of Queen's finest works.Standouts include the scorching opener "Tie Your Mother Down", the highly underrated "Good-Old Fashioned Lover Boy", and my favorite Queen song, the mellow rocker "Long Away".Queen's best work.
