Guns 'N' Roses were once a great band, and I unfortunately wasn't alive when they were. This debut album is IMO the best debut album of all time. The guitars of Slash and Izzy Stradlin have a certain crunch to them that no one else has, and that makes the stellar riffs and solos that much more better.Axl Rose has probably the best gritty voice in all of rock music, if only he could have continued to improve this band.On the rhythm side is Duff McKagan on the bass and Steven Adler, both of whom form a tight backbone that fits perfectly with the rest of the band.Highlights include the vastly underrated "Think About You", the funky "Mr. Brownstone", and my all time favorite GnR song, the kickin' "Nightrain".The band, as we all know, began to falter shortly after this, but this is right here is still their finest hour.

Standout Track:
6/28 - Def Leppard/Styx/Tesla
8/29 - Rick Springfield/Loverboy/The Romantics
8/30 - Motley Crue
