Genre: Glam Metal/Sleaze Rock

The top album of my glam metal revival thread makes the number 8 spot here.Crashdiet (along with Hardcore Superstar) is the leader of the Swedish Glam Metal seen.Generation Wild is not only Crashdiet's best album, and it's not only the best "NEW" glam metal album, it's also the best album of the new millennium period IMO.They have the perfect mix of Guns 'N' Roses, Motley Crue, and Skid Row influences to make a album that is truly spectacular.Simon Cruz sings like Sebastian Bach with a modern twist, Martin Sweet is more of a riff master than a solo master, but he can still no doubt shred.Peter London plays the bass really well, keep the backbone for the rest of the band, and Eric Young crashes on the drums with a drum sound that is incredible.Highlights include "Chemical" with that comes with a killer chorus, the power ballad "Save Her", and the anthem for the new glam metal generation, the bombastic title-track.

Standout Track:
"Generation Wild"
6/28 - Def Leppard/Styx/Tesla
8/29 - Rick Springfield/Loverboy/The Romantics
8/30 - Motley Crue
