I agree with this. Just cause someone steals your property doesn't mean they should die. Nobody would get the death penalty for stealing a fucking truck, would they?

I also agree with this. This guy was way out of line by killing the thief. Now if the guy's kids were in the truck and the thief clearly had a weapon, maybe it would be justified. I guess I am just not a big fan of guns and weapons in general, and think they should only be used in the most extreme of situations. If the guy is gonna shoot (since people will have guns no matter what) shoot out the fucking tires... Plus, if the cops were to shoot a caf thief, it would be called excessive use of force (which I would agree with).
