Remember when I said "The Outsiders" album was the biggest odd-ball on this list? well scratch that. This is the biggest odd-ball on this list, and really the only alternative album to make my top 100.Switchfoot was actually introduced to me when Bon Jovi was, and ever since then I have loved their music.I've also seen their live show about 7 times, and I can safely say their one of the best bands to see live, and I wish one day NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot would tour together, oh that would be to much awesomeness to handle! This album is definitely Switchfoot's best, and probably heaviest and darkest as well.Jon Foreman's unique vocals fit well with Drew Shirley's and Jerome Fontamillas's sludgy guitars.Chad Butler handles the drums really well, and Tim Foreman remains as one of my favorite bass players.Highlights include the killer, in-your-face "Politicians", the more light hearted sing-along-song type track "We Are One Tonight", and the pumping opener "Lonely Nation".Everyone who hasn't already needs to at least check this album out.

Standout Track:
"Lonely Nation"
6/28 - Def Leppard/Styx/Tesla
8/29 - Rick Springfield/Loverboy/The Romantics
8/30 - Motley Crue
