Slayer -- Sydney, Australia -- February 25th, 2013

So today was the Slayer sideshow, the only sideshow from Soundwave festival they were doing, partly to make up for their cancelled set at the festival in Sydney a few years back due to Tom Araya having an ear infection.

Crowd wasn't a sell-out, but I'd say it came pretty close to.

Kingdom of Sorrow were up first, playing from 7.45-8.25.

Behind the Blackest Tears
Free the Fallen
Enlightened to Extinction
Begging for the Truth
The Fearless Must Endure
Monuments of Ash
Led into Demise
Lead the Ghosts Astray
Buried In Black (Steve Gibb from BLS & Crowbar played bass on this track)

Anthrax were on at around 8.45, and played for a tad under 45.

Caught in a Mosh
Fight 'Em 'Til You Can't
In the End
I Am the Law

Slayer played from 10-11.30, pulling out a pretty decent set, and giving Dette a run for his money! Pretty happy with the additions on top of their Soundwave set, in my opinion Dette sounded better tonight than he did at the festival yesterday too. Would have loved Live Undead, Silent Scream or Captor of Sin though!

World Painted Blood
War Ensemble
Die by the Sword
Chemical Warfare
Spirit in Black
Mandatory Suicide
Altar of Sacrifice
Jesus Saves
Seasons in the Abyss
Hell Awaits
Angel of Death

South of Heaven
Hate Worldwide
Dead Skin Mask
Reign In Blood
Paul McCartney (London)
Temples Festival (Bristol)
Primavera Sound Festival (Porto)
Copenhell Festival (Copenhagen)
Primus (London)
