Panopticon - Kentucky
Truly an interesting album. Panopticon is a one man band from, well, Kentucky. On this album he tried to capture the scenery and history of the state by using bluegrass and southern folk parts of songs, as well as instruments such as the fiddle, banjo, and flute. He did a damn good job if I say so myself. One of the most interesting releases of this year, and black metal albums overall.
I had this typed up before I stopped doing the highlights, but even more so conveniently this is an album you gotta listen to to see what I'm talking about.
