Ellie Goulding - Lights
This is basically why I love pop music sometimes. There's no way this song would be on popular radio stations a few years ago. "Lights" is basically a continuation of one of my favorite pop songs ever, La Roux's "Bulletproof" - very synth and vocally driven, sorta-almost-downtempo pop dance music with great lyrics and a great beat. Ellie Goulding just hit everything on the nose with this song. It's hipster pop come to the mainstream, and it's fucking awesome.
