Cannibal Corpse -- Sydney, Australia -- October 6th, 2012

After having seen CC rip it up on the Summer Slaughter tour, I was pretty keen to see them headline again back in Australia! The Metro Theatre hadn't sold out, but I'd say it was damn near close to capacity!

I missed the first band on the bill and got in just as Disentomb started, not having heard them live before they put on a pretty fuckin' nuts show, definitely some BDM worth checking out if you haven't heard them.

(99% sure this is right!)

Suspended on his Symbol of Suffering
Abominations Created Through Divinity
Abhorrent Expansion
Cystic Secretion
Forced Adornment of the Funerary Crown
Subterranean Burial

Up next were Psycroptic, who were a late addition to the roster, being added to the Melbourne and Sydney shows only. I'm not sure if they've toured here yet since releasing the new album, but I'd love to see a headline set again soon. Last time I saw them played half of TSOTA, but given their time they pulled out a lot of new tracks and a couple off TSOTA and Ob(Servant) respectively. Still, a stellar performance from the Tassies!

Skin Coffin
Carriers of the Plague
Forward to Submission
The Sleepers Have Awoken
The Colour of Sleep

Cannibal Corpse hit the stage earlier than scheduled and busted out a good starting trio from the new album, pummelling away through twenty songs over about 90 minutes! Nice to see a few extra tracks added, and all-in-all a killer performance.

Demented Aggression
Sarcophagic Frenzy
Scourge of Iron
Evisceration Plague
The Time to Kill is Now
Covered With Sores
Born in a Casket
I Cum Blood
Pit of Zombies
Encased in Concrete
The Wretched Spawn
Fucked With a Knife
As Deep as the Knife Will Go
I Will Kill You
Priests of Sodom
Unleashing the Bloodthirsty
Make Them Suffer
Hammer Smashed Face
Stripped, Raped and Strangled
Paul McCartney (London)
Temples Festival (Bristol)
Primavera Sound Festival (Porto)
Copenhell Festival (Copenhagen)
Primus (London)
