Got to the venue when Deserters was playing and they were ok. Betrayal hit the stage and they sounded just like a moshcore, breakdown friendly band should so Iíll give em that. It was the singers birthday, he got a nice chocolate cupcake cuz of that. Now the band everyone was there to see, The Ghost Inside. Holy tits what must be said besides the fact that they sounded great and gave it 100% to a sold out close to home rowdy fucking crowd. Within 2 songs John said that this was easily the greatest show they have ever played and thanked the fans. I agree, easily the best time I've seen em. Chain Reaction so the usually fun stuff: bodies on top of bodies and constant movement. Pussy me didnít crowd surf nor stage dive. Haha Set was pretty much perfect, had it had Inherent Youth then Iíd say perfect. Crowd ate up everything and during Between The Lines sooo many peeps on stage! Lastly, TGI played Engine 45 for the first time ever and John gave a nice speech about being straight edge for 11 years, never succumbing to addiction like some of his family members have, losing loved ones to addiction, and ultimately persevering through such struggles. He then proceeded to jump in the crowd during that last verse of the song and sang it with the crowd who rushed him and sang their hearts out, me included. No mic during that time and you could hear that verse repeated perfectly. It was beautiful and a sight to behold.
