Well here's my top 5 for the year so far. Why do a top 10 halfway through the year, if statistically probably only 5 will meet end-year top 10 requirements
1. Anathema - Weather Systems
2. Overkill - The Electric Age
3. Kreator - Phantom Antichrist
4. Rush - Clockwork Angels
5. Pilgrim - Misery Wizard
That's out of 19 albums I've heard that I liked so far. But excluding St. Vitus, Candlemass, and Gojira, whose new albums I've sadly failed to get around to giving a proper listening to yet.
