Yeah it was 26000+, the biggest Mayhem crowd in history they said. And the pit was wild.
I thought all the bands I went there for sounded great, I was in the pit though so I was very close to the amps.
During Slipknot the pyrotechnics were pretty fucking loud.
And the stage setup/lights for Slayer/Slipknot was pretty awesome. The Marshall Amp upside-down cross setup for Slayer in particular, with flames shooting out of it.
