Motley Crue -- Nashville, TN -- July 3rd, 2011

Haha, long time, no see. It's been quite a while since I've been here, so I figured I'd catch up on the past few gigs I saw last summer before I go into this years.

I originally was going to the Cincinnati show, but figured Nashville would be better.

New York Dolls setlist

01. looking For A Kiss
02. Dance Like a Monkey
03. 'Cause I Sez So
04. Who Are The Mystery Girls?
05. Talk To Me, Baby
06. Kids Like You
07. Pills
08. Trash
09. Personality Crises
10. Jet Boy

Before the show, I hadn't a clue about who these guys were and I almost skipped. I'm glad I didn't though, they were pretty good.

Poison setlist

01. Look What The Cat Dragged In
02. Ride The Wind
03. We're an American Band
04. Your Mama Don't Dance
05. C.C. Deville guitar solo
06. Fallen Angel
07. Unskinny Bop
08. Rikki Rockett drum solo
09. Every Rose Has It's Thorn
10. Talk Dirty To Me
11. Nothin' But A Good Time

I was really hesitant to sit through these guys again, I thought they were terrible the last time I saw them. This time around though, they were really good and I enjoyed them, the crowd went totally nuts for them too. I will be seeing them again this year with Def Leppard and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

Motley Crue setlist

01. Wild Side
02. Saints of Los Angeles
03. Live Wire
04. Shout At The Devil
05. Same Ol' Situation
06. Primal Scream
07. Home Sweet Home
08. Don't Go Away Mad
09. Tommy Lee rollercoaster drum solo
10. Mick Mars guitar solo
11. Looks That Kill
12. Dr. Feelgood
13. Too Young To Fall In Love
14. Ten Seconds To Love
15. Girls, Girls, Girls
16. Smokin' In The Boys Room
17. Kickstart My Heart

I know, it's the same old crap they play, but it's still good to hear and they still have fun stage shows. Although, I must admit, when I heard they were opening with "Wild Side", I thought it was stupid. However, seeing how it was done, I couldn't have asked for a better opener. It was a bonus to hear "Too Young To Fall In Love" and my favorite "Ten Seconds To Love" and this time around, I thought Vince sounded pretty decent in comparison of the past times I've seen them. Great show, probably the best one I saw that year
