3 Doors Down -- Clarkston, MI -- June 27th, 2012

I know they're not metal, but I thought people might be interested. Strangely enough, the 1st 2x I saw 3DD I saw them open for Sevendust in 2000, and then they opened for Tool in 2001. I'm a fan. This is from their tour w/ ZZ Top.

We got there right as 3 Doors Down started playing. Perfect timing! I've always been a big fan. They're just a good rock band, and they're excellent live. I hadn't seen them since 2003 when they opened for this really shitty Canadian band. I forget the band's name. : ). 3 Doors Down played all their hits plus a new song that'll be released on their greatest hits CD later this year. Setlist:

Duck & Run
The Road I'm On
Away From the Sun
Let Me Go
Be Like That
Citizen Soldier
Loser
Round & Round
One Light (new song)
It's Not My Time
Here Without You
Kryptonite
When I'm Gone

ZZ Top headlined. They were good, but like every other time I've seen them, they were completely upstaged by the band that they played with. On top of that, ZZ Top didn't play any of my requests ("Tube Snake Boogie," "Cheap Sunglasses," or "Got Me Under Pressure." Oh well. They still played a fun set.
