The new Firewind took quite a few listens to grow on me, but I think it's a little bit better than Days of Defiance. Sadly it doesn't come close to the heights of Allegiance, or even The Premonition, but at least there are a bunch of catchy songs on it. It also has the thrashiest riff that I've heard this year (on the 5th track, I think).
