Well, For one...

They were mainly doing cover songs when they were out doing gigs at small tiny clubs and bars. Most of there sets were filled with Priest, Maiden Cover songs because they were forced to play those and not original songs(I read that somewhere on some little un-authorized autobiography on the band a long time ago).

Also, just so you know...All those songs are real..

Ice titan, simple aggressions, these are all REAL songs that the band made much before going onto making the REAL heavy evil tunes that they would become oh-so famous for making.

Here's an example. I would assume since it was at a high school this would be there time to shine, by playing whatever they want...and not bunch of cover songs that they would be force to play at their bar/club gigs..
