Well... yeah, you're right.
I view them more as a "riffy technical" band, like Decapitated or even Meshuggah, than a "let's see how many sweeps I can do" band, like Obscura, Necrophagist, or Psycroptic. Maybe I've just had bad experiences in the past.
Haven't seen Decrepit yet though I hear amazing things; and Suffocation is more brutal death metal in my opinion; music practically MADE for pits.
