Just knocked out 'The Perfect Murder' by Peter James last night. It's one of those short stories published as part of a programme called "Quick Reads" aimed at getting people to actually bother reading.
They're cheap, and profits go to the programme in order to continue it, so all good. I just grabbed the ones by authors I actually like.
Sadly, this one sucked

Childishly written, pretty dull story with annoying characters, and the twist was obvious from about half way through.
It was just a quick break from the excellent 'Shut Your Eyes Tight' by John Verdon though. Wanted to prolong it
