19. Ved Buens Ende - Written In Waters
(Misanthropy Records, 1995)
Ved Buens Ende is probably one of the strangest bands in Black Metal you could come across. There form of the genre draws from progressive rock and avant-garde influences. They only have one release under their belts but its a total monster. That if you give the time to let it sink under your skin will have you hooked with drummer Czarl's quirky jazzy fills and unmistakable croon. Along with the dissonant riffing and fretless bass playing that it supports.
