The End of 2011 with illninoese

Another year come and gone. I slacked off this year on writing reviews big time. I feel a slight tinge of shame to admit it too. I however did manage to listen to more stuff than I did in 2010. This was a great year for the post-metal and thrash genres of our lovely musical world. Some of the releases from these genres completely floored me. The end of deathcore seems to be on the horizon as well so hurray for that! I'm excited to see what 2012 is going to bring us. Here's the breakdown for how I am going to do this:
- Albums I should have listened to but didn't get around to it
-Albums of 2011 (3 sections: Disappointments, Average, Best of)
- EP/Singles of 2011

Unfortunately, as is the case ever year, there was a lot of stuff I didn't get around to listening to.
I'll start this thread off by listing off those albums that deserve my undivided attention but did not receive it =(

3 - The Ghost You Gave Me
Abrogation - Tief Schwarz, Blutig Rot
Alex Skolnick Trio - Veritas
Altar of Plagues - Mammal
