49. GRAND MASTERS: GZA the Genius of the Wu Tang Clan Vs Dj Muggs of Cypress Hill

Artist:GZA the Genius
Producer: DJ Muggs
Title: GRAND MASTERS
Year: 2005

"A small fry nigga in a baked potato world" -Gza AKA GZA THE GENIUS

Don't be fooled by the title folks. These guys join forces in creating one of my favorite hip hop records of 2005 instead of taking each other on. It's just a cool album title. Anyways, alot of idiots especially pawns of the mainstream would tell you that 2005s rap albums of the year was Kanye wests college drop out album but naw folks. It was this masterpiece. I said early on my number 50 that muggs album with P.A was killer but his previous record was still top biller and it happens to be this. I remember buying this album in 2005 at tower records and blasting "queens gambit" and "general principles" MASSIVELY in highscool, good times indeed. Not only a great record but one of the best in 2005 and also Gza's second best solo record behind his infamous LIQUID SWORDS.
