Not too surprised about the thin crowd. I mean, the band has no CD out yet and they don't play anything from the catalogue of their previous bands.
Some bands with a few albums out have a hard time to bring people to their shows, so I can imagine that a new band (even though with a couple really well-known guys) that has no album and not even a single song known by the masses will get small crowds.
A band like Saxon with 30 years and 19 albums got around only 150 people at one of the California shows of the current tour...
Kill Devil Hill must keep going. When the album is released, it'll help. I'd see them if they'd come over here.
