Perfectly reasonable. I'd always rather artists put their foot down when promoters and/or venues have fucked up.
I remember the first of what would become the annual St. George's Day London Saxon gig. It was at the Astoria and Saxon hadn't been told that the curfew had been moved forward for the G.A.Y. club to 10:30, meaning they had to finish at the absolute latest at 10:10.
They were told to shorten their set, but refused and just made them open the doors earlier, put the support on early, and they went on at 8 and played 130 minutes
