I also disagree with your assertion about the rest of the album being somewhat bipolar. In curiosity, which songs do you think are good and/or bad?
Honestly, I love almost every Mogwai Instrumental. When they start adding in the vocals it ruins it for me. Mexican Grand Prix is a great example of that. A song I would have loved if it was instrumental.
