Awesome show. Mostly went to see Alter Bridge, Godsmack, and Three Days Grace....and they all killed it. Ended up watching those 3, plus Stone Sour, Seether, Rev Theory, Skillet, and Black Stone Cherry. The event was pretty poorly planned. About 40,000 people in a field. They were running out of food, and drinks. The lines for the Food were hours long. Some people were stuck in traffic for 2-3 hours. It will get better though, its only the first year. Hopefully its even better next year, it will be the ROTR of the South. Worth the 6 hour drive.
The only issue I had, was how shitty of a reception Alter Bridge received. Hardly anyone was into them. They were by far the best band on the bill. Really lame, anyway here are some of the sets.
