The thing that I didn't like about Fury & Flames and about this song is that it tries to way too much. And the dissonance in the guitar sound. Just the constant double-bass does not go well with the riffing style and everything has a weird tuning. I do like it better than the first song I heard off of Fury & Flames, but that doesn't give me much hope.
Hate Eternal is one of my favorite death metal bands, but I think it might be time to take a step back, take a breath, and be inspired by their back catalog a little more.
