Revocation -- Atlanta, GA -- March 12th, 2011

Atheist was the headliner, but I left early as I wasn't a fan of them coming in and they didn't convert me in a live setting. I didn't know one song coming in to the show.

Last Chance To Reason was up first. They played tech-death with keyboards and a slight deathcore slant. Overall, they weren't really my bag. The vocalist looked like a retard when he did inhales.

Revocation was next and met my expectations, if not exceeding them. I was on the rail for the first half of their set, t'was a blast. Highlight of the set was their Death cover, for sure. I actually looked on their Facebook and saw that they posted a video of them playing it in Baltimore, so I wasn't surprised when they announced it, but I was overjoyed.

Re-Animaniac
Pestilence Reigns
Pull the Plug (Death)
Dismantle the Dictator
Age of Iniquity
Unattained
Exhumed Identity

so, same set as last year + "Pull the Plug." I'm fine with that. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

A Life Once Lost didn't make it because of van troubles. I wasn't too bummed

Then came Atheist. First things first: Kelly Schafer looks exactly like Bret Michaels.

As I said, I've never been much of an Atheist fan. Shame they didn't make much of a lasting impression on me live. My brother, who is a fan, didn't think they were anything special either.

I found a setlist:

Unquestionable Presence
On They Slay
Second To Sun
Mineral
Fraudulent Cloth
An Incarnation's Dream
Live And Live Again
Your Life's Retribution
Air
Mother Man
Faux King Christ
Piece Of Time
