Someone can check me on that but that's what I've got. Show was
incredible. Didn't get a Kylesa setlist, but they were amazing and officially converted me into a fan after quite a few years of trying to get into them. I picked up Spiral Shadow, because I figure they won me over with a set that probably focused on that disc, and Static Tensions definitely didn't grab me like their live set was. They would have blown most headliners off the stage, but uh, this was Clutch, and do you see that fucking setlist? LA CURANDERA IS THE YOUNG GIRL IN A LINEN DRESS, IN A LINEN DRESS OF WHITE! 'Nuff said.
Oh, Righteous Fool were on first and sucked. Word to the wise: If you want to cover a non-metal song as a metal band, make sure one of the biggest metal bands on the planet don't already have a well-known cover of it. Their Green Manalishi was embarrassing.
EDIT: Indeed, Neil had a cast on his hand, and Per Wiberg (Opeth) beefed up most of the songs with far better keys than Mick Schauer ever did. He's easily my second favorite member of Opeth after Mikael, and his versatility was really on display last night. Although I kind of wanted to call for "A Fair Judgement" or "Burden."
