I like it a lot as well, although I'm thinking you might be more in love with it than I am.

Totally agree. This is going to rank very high in my list, and fuck it if one of my votes gets "wasted" on's one of the best albums of 2010 hands fucking down. If you don't like this album then you don't really like metal. It's that simple.

I'm guessing Snakes for the Divine will be in our overall Top 10 but I have a hard time ranking that cd over this one. I might have to listen to both a few more times but if you like HOF, Kylesa, Howl and bands like that definitely check out Bison BC. Currently in my #10 spot
Love it. Snakes for the Divine is way better, though, brah. The title track from Snakes alone is pure fucking gold. Add to that Frost Hammer, Bastard Samurai , FFP and Fire Spitter and you've got yourself a top ten album, brother!

I haven't heard any reviews of it or anyone even hype it at all. Let me tell you, the thrash is back! Hellfire is one of the best songs released in 2010. The cd also comes with a 25th anniversary concert that includes some live gems including Christ Passion, Sodomy and Lust & One Step Over the Line that make this cd package the most underrated of 2010 to me.
I haven't finished listening toi this yet, but what I've heard I liked. I think it's mainly the timing of this album that's fucking it over in terms of year-end lists...that'd be unfortunate if it gets swept aside just because of that.
9/2 Chelsea Wolfe
10/16 Kylesa / Inter Arma / Indian Handcrafts / Irata
11/13 Windhand / Monolord
