40 Below Summer -- Sayerville, NJ -- October 2nd, 2010

This is going to be a shorter review because all the opening bands were pretty much shitty local bands.

Anyway, we got there around 6:20ish, halfway through a band called Thanatotic Desire. They were generic metal but they weren't that good. Then an E.Town Concrete wanna be band came on named Disaster Fantastic. They even had the E.Town guitarist come on stage and play a cover of Shaydee with them. Then a good band came on stage called Ashes of Your Enemy. My friend Joe is friends with their guitarist so thats why he was there and they were pretty good. They had kinda like an Unearth sound, they actually got the crowd going. Then Dead Men Dreaming played and they sucked, generic rock and roll. The last band of the unknowns came on called With Daggers Drawn, it was the singer of 40 Below and they weren't actually that good, metalcoreish but I just wasn't feeling them.

Then after a long wait at around 10:30 the band I pretty much came to see went on, God Forbid. They were awesome. It's been a while since I've seen them, last time was the tour with Lamb of God, AILD and Bodom. G forbid were really good. Intense pits, great song selection and pure energy. They definitely stole the show for me. They even played a fucking Slayer cover. 9.5/10
1. War of Attrition
2. Anti-Hero
3. Better Days
4. Chains of Humanity
5. Bat The Angels
6. Empire of The Gun
7. South of Heaven
8. To The Fallen Heroes (dedicated to Dimebag )
9. End of The World

Finally at around 11:30, 40 Below Summer went on. Now I didn't know any of their music so I didn't know what to expect. We left after a few songs but what I saw I liked. I'll definitely check them out more. I know they played their album Invitation To The Dance in it's entirety, I don't know if they played anything else though. 6.5/10
We The People
Still Life
Wither Away
Step Into the Sideshow
Falling Down (left during this song)
Smile Electric
Power Tool
Minus One

Those are all the songs on that album. Don't know if they played anything else.
