Slayer -- New York, NY -- August 10th, 2010

1. Hate Worldwide
2. Dead Skin Mask

Quite the setlist, right .

Anyway it was a part of the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. The show itself was alright. The guests were nothing special (some actor from the show Deep Blue and Perez Hilton), but it was still a cool experience (and the show's house band, The Roots, were phenominal). I won the raffle to be on the band bench, which is basically these three bleachers that surround the band while they play (one directly behind the band, and one on each side). I was in the very front of the bleacher behind the band, so I watched Slayer directly behind Dave Lombardo's drumkit. Needless to say, it was an amazing experience. I was able to shake Dave's hand before and after they played and I was able to shake Araya's after. All in all, it was one of the coolest and most fun experiences I've ever had. It's not everyday you get to watch the master of the kit behind him while he plays.
