This is almost perfect. And kudos for not only being the only American I know to even pick a Threshold album for a list such as this, but to pick the right one Even if it has my second favourite of their singers.

On the subject of Pain of Salvation, 'Remedy Lane' all day long. And I think Dead Soul Tribe deserve a mention. My list would also include Nation Beyond's 'The Aftermath Odyssey' and for certain, quite near the top, Arena's 'Immortal'.
