You have more time to work off your mistake is you eat like garbage 12 hours before bedtime, as opposed to eating 1500 calories, then going to bed.

I'm trying to stay busy enough now so that i don't have time to pig out - during the week, i work my normal 8 hours, try to do at least 2 hours of OT a day, eat a quick dinner when i get home, hit the gym, come home and read/go to bed. Honestly for me, the food part is way harder than the workout part.
